Aguero, Morata, Lukaku, or Kane?

They’ve netted a total of 22 goals this season between them and it would cost you £62.3m to have all four in your team (if it were possible). The problem every fantasy football manager now has is which one leads their attack?

Aguero

At 15.8m Aguero is the second cheapest of the quartet. The Argentinian is also the highest point-scorer, and at Manchester City, he is part of the most prolific attack. With support from the likes of De Bruyne, Silva, Sane, and Sterling, he will get always get chances. His only weakness is his fitness record. When Aguero is fit and playing, he scores goals. If he stays injury free this year, we fully expect him to take the golden boot.

Morata

Chelsea look to have found the perfect replacement for Diego Costa. Alvaro Morata has 6 goals and two assists making him the second highest point-scorer in fantasy football. The Spaniard has hit the ground running since arriving at Chelsea and his goal-scoring form looks like it is here to stay. At £13.7m Morata is the cheapest of the big four strikers and has the highest points per million ratio. At the moment, Morata is the wise choice, but can he keep up the pace with the others?

Lukaku

Before a last-minute surge from Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku looked set to be the Premier League’s top goalscorer last season. The United man will want to see it through this year and is looking as though he may well accomplish that. Like Aguero and Morata. The Belgian has 6 goals after six games and will be hoping to add to that tally with a home tie against whipping boys Crystal Palace next Saturday. At 16.0m he’s the second most expensive, but that’s the price you pay for guaranteed goals.

Kane

The 17/18 top goalscorer Harry Kane has been hit and miss up to this point. The Tottenham striker has four goals, but these have come by way of two braces against West Ham and Everton. Everyone knows that August isn’t his favourite month, so he’ll be looking to push on from this point, but at 16.8m he is the most expensive of the four forwards. With pundits tipping him as the best in the league, we fully expect Kane to find consistency and keep up with the 6 goal club.
