EPL Gameweek 38 – Who To Pick, Risk, Avoid in Your Fantasy XI

Another Premier League season is coming to an end and it seems it was only yesterday that we were still commenting on the Euros and wondering whether Leicester City were able to repeat their incredible 15/16 season. We have a new champion, Chelsea FC, and we are saying goodbye to Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Hull City, who will play in the Championship next season. Let’s have a look at what the last gameweek of the season has to offer. Here is our regular digest with some hints & tips for your Fantasy XI.

Pick

Gabriel Jesus – City are traveling to Watford on Sunday and Pep’s side need a win to secure third place. Gabriel Jesus (18 points in his last three games) is the man you need.

Philippe Coutinho – Another key pick, this weekend, as Liverpool are playing Boro at Anfield and need to win to keep Arsenal at arm’s distance. Coutinho is a strong choice for your midfield.

Nathaniel Clyne – Liverpool are quite likely to keep a clean sheet after three games in a row without conceding. Clyne is a clever right back who will give you a balanced – and successful – Fantasy XI.

Risk

Marcus Rashford – United are among the teams who will play twice this gameweek. Rashford is a risky choice given Mourihno will be resting his key men for the Europa League Final.  However, he might be Mourinho’s ace in the hole against Southampton and, perhaps, Palace if required.

Gylfi Sigurdsson – Swansea City vs WBA would be the right game to pick the Icelandic midfielder. It might be risky, considering the Welsh are safe and might lack motivations for the last game of the season.

Harry Kane – Tottenham will play twice away this gameweek. Kane played decently in his last couple of matches. Will you risk him?

Avoid

Sunderland, Boro and Hull City players – I hope to see them back in the Premier League very soon.

Watford defenders – Ok, the Hornets conceded four times at Stamford Bridge on Monday and that might seem quite normal. What scares me is the bad vibes currently spreading in the club, with a few players likely to leave and manager Mazzarri reportedly leaving too. Uhm, maybe it’s not ideal to pick any of their defenders for this match against City.
